This unique gin is crafted through long and partial cold macerations in stages, right on-site, with over fifteen organic aromatic plants. Most of them are sourced locally from the region and across France, including juniper berries, cardamom, coriander, pink peppercorns, iris root, myrtle berries, and selected citrus fruits. The key ingredient that makes this gin stand apart is the freshness of the Burgundy blackcurrant bud.

What truly makes L'Original special is a carefully guarded secret, with many other ingredients contributing to its distinct profile, but the recipe, from you to me... will remain a SECRET!

What flavors?
Each distillery has its own recipes, but you will find these nuances in our GIN.
Nose: aromas of freshly picked bergamot and citron, punctuated by a slight spicy note.
Palate: the first sip reveals a bright citrus heart supported by the great freshness of blackcurrant bud, generous woody and spicy notes of juniper, cloves and cardamom.
Finish: suave and comforting, beautiful sweetness brought by the fragrant woodruff and Corsican fig leaf.
