"Ballad at the Acropolis" Theater

This exquisite miniature Rococo-style theater is a refined decorative piece that will elevate your interior décor.

Crafted in France in our workshop in Compiègne, it is made from hand-stained and varnished reconstituted wood. Inspired by the English Toy Theatres of the Victorian era, it is available in elegant shades of brown, yellow, pink, and blue.

This wooden paper toy, infused with a Rococo aesthetic, echoes the artistry of painters such as Fragonard and Hubert Robert. The intricate trompe-l'œil details capture the delicacy of the Rococo style, while the cut-out ruins immerse us in the grandeur of 18th-century paintings. Miniature figurines, adorned in period costumes, bring to life the playful and libertine characters of Fragonard’s pastoral and gallant scenes. Thoughtfully integrated lighting effects recreate an authentic theatrical ambiance, reminiscent of Hubert Robert’s neo-classical compositions.
